From April 15 to April 19, the first phase of the 137th Spring China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was held in Guangzhou. During the first phase of the spring Canton Fair, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is experiencing a peak in inbound passenger flow, which has significantly increased the pressure on traditional manual consultation services. To address this, GRGIntech has collaborated with the Guangzhou Border Inspection Station to deploy an AI digital human customer service system at the T2 terminal’s inbound port of the airport, leveraging technological power to alleviate service pressure.

Relying on GRGIntech’s self-developed AI Wangdao large model and DeepSeek™ R1 algorithm, a “knowledge graph + logical reasoning” dual-engine has been built to achieve millisecond-level responses to inquiries in both Chinese and English, accurately answering more than 500 frequently asked questions about visas and entry policies.

A dedicated digital human image has been created according to the needs of the border inspection scenario, with an amiable appearance to enhance the warmth of the service and become a “technological guide” within the terminal building.

In response to the increasing scale of the Canton Fair and the resulting pressure on certification processing, GRGIntech has innovatively applied its accumulated expertise in intelligent ticketing to the exhibition service scenario, developing a multi-modal self-service certification terminal that significantly improves certification efficiency.

Global Document Recognition in Seconds

Integrated with AI intelligent recognition technology, the terminal supports rapid verification of more than 200 types of passports and identity documents and offers multi-modal biometric authentication, including facial recognition and QR codes, completing the certification process within 30 seconds.

Multi-Language Service Without Barriers

The interface supports switching between multiple languages to meet the needs of global merchants, combined with real-time cloud verification and encrypted printing technology to achieve “instant processing and collection.”

Comprehensive Coverage of Transportation Hubs

Deployed simultaneously at entry portals such as Baiyun Airport, Guangzhou South Station, and Pazhou Hong Kong and Macao Port, the system enables seamless integration from “entry – certification – participation.”

Scenario Synergy Coverage

A total of 100 self-service terminals are interconnected at the exhibition certification points, 69 key hotels in Guangzhou, airports, high-speed railway stations, and subway stations, forming a “15-minute service circle.”

Extended Ecological Services

The self-service terminal system is interconnected with the digital platform of the Canton Fair, allowing participants to quickly enter the venue with a QR code certificate, make appointments for talks, and enjoy one-stop services such as in-venue navigation and translation.

Efficiency Revolution

Each terminal serves more than 300 people per day on average, compressing the traditional 30-minute manual process to 30 seconds, increasing efficiency by 60 times.

Stability Assurance

The equipment uses a redundant fault-tolerant mechanism to ensure stable operation and efficiently safeguard the Canton Fair.
